Registration can be completed at Blue Sombrero:
Registration will close when a division is full. Most divisions were at capacity in the Spring and last Fall. There is a $20 late fee assessed for all registrations completed after .
Cost is only $110 for Gardens’ residents. Non-residents are charged a $55 non-resident fee. This fee is a direct pass through to the City of Palm Beach Gardens. Your third child is free when registered for a single sport.
All players receive a soccer ball, uniform kit (jersey, shorts, socks), participation trophy and access to free clinics administered by trainers from the Predators Competitive teams.
No requests will be honored for specific uniforms.
Age group changes
We will be splitting all age groups by year of birth as of per US Soccer guidelines.
The PBGYAA Predators Soccer program is run by all volunteers, including the coaches. We are always in need of parents who are willing to coach. It is a very rewarding experience for the parent and your child. Please register as a volunteer to coach when you register your child to play for the season.
Help us continue to keep the cost of entry into sports as low as possible. We have several sponsorship opportunities available, including team sponsorship for $350. The generosity of our sponsors allow us to maintain our low cost, provide financial assistance to kids who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate and support our many other programs, including TOPs Soccer. Positive Coaching and Parenting
This is a recreation league, the PBGYAA expects all parents to be positive to all players, referees and other parents. Bad behavior or negative cheering is not tolerated.
Player Code of Conduct
We expect all players to be respectful to all players, coaches, referees, and parents. The Board requests that all parents and coaches encourage good sportsmanship

This meeting will cover the following topics:
Klock Soccer Fields
All soccer activities, including evaluations, practices, and games are schedule to be conducted at the Klock Soccer Fields on Burns Road.
Evaluations will be held for all Boys and Girls age groups U8 and higher. Evaluations give the Coaches the opportunity to see all players conduct some basic soccer skills and play in a short scrimmage. The evaluation provides the Coaches insight into each player’s abilities and it helps to ensure that all teams are drafted with players at all skill levels. During evaluations each player is provided a number that is pinned to their shirt. Evaluations last approximately 45 minutes
After the notification of what team each child will be playing on, the Coach will be communicating with all parents to introduce themselves and provide additional information regarding the practice schedule and expectations for the season.
It is appreciated if there are one or two parents willing to help the coach and coordinate the other activities for the team such as picture day, snacks, etc.

August 25 – September 8th - The team practice schedule will start August 25th and will continue until September 8th. Each team is allocated field space for two practices a week, one weekday evening practice and also a practice on Saturday.
Once games start, it will be at the discretion of the Coach if they choose to have additional practices or not for their team. We encourage all coaches to continue practices as we will have open fields for practice. We will also have free clinics on Friday nights held by our professional trainers.
Team Uniforms and Soccer Balls
Each player is provided a soccer ball at the first practice. Please be sure to put your child’s name on it to ensure if it is left at the fields it can be returned to you.
Uniforms will be handed out before Opening day and will only be given to the coach. The uniform kit consists of a jersey, shorts, and socks. A range of sizes are provided to help fit the players as best as possible. We do not take any number requests and please email us if you have uniform issues.
Games and Scheduling
All age groups games will start the week of September 9th. Each team will play two games a week, one weekday evening game and Saturday depending upon the age group.
The official game schedule will be emailed to each parent via Blue Sombrero prior to the first week of games. With approximately 100 teams, the scheduling process takes some time and review before the final schedule is posted.
Age Group Game Schedule: Subject to change
Saturday, September 15th - The season’s official Opening Day will be Saturday, September 15th. All teams play on this day, and there are other activities available for the kids including bounce houses, snow cones, and the opening of the Concession Stand.
We will also be running our annual Food Bank collection. Nonperishable items will be collected and donated to our local community food banks.
Team and Individual Pictures - are taken on opening day on Field 4. Coaches will provide their team with the time schedule for pictures prior to the start of the team’s game. A picture make-up date will be scheduled later in the season if necessary
Friday Night Clinics
These are free clinics for all players and are run by our professional trainers. Dates are to be confirmed. Further information will be emailed to all parents once the season starts. This is great opportunity for players to build on their skills, especially for those players who have not played before and are still learning the game.

The concession stand is open Tuesday – Thursday, and on Saturday all day. Food and beverages are available for purchase. All proceeds from the concession stand fund the Soccer Division Academic Scholarship fund.
Weather Notifications and Make Up Game
We will email parents if we have any rain outs, please note the City of Palm Beach Gardens makes the decisions on field closures. We usually do not make a decision until 5pm as we do our best to get the games played. If a game is rained out the Board will attempt to reschedule it to be played at a later date.

You can download the Dick’s Team Sports HQ app on your Apple or Android device. Use your Blue Sombrero login and password. This will give you mobile access to your child’s team roster, game reminders, etc.
During the Spring Season, we collected more than 100 pairs of cleats. The Brawley Family, a dedicated soccer family in our program has kindly spent their summer refurbishing these cleats. During evaluations and the first week of play the refurbished cleats will be available to all soccer players in need.
