The i2i International Soccer Academy are heading out to Palm Beach Gardens, to recruit student athletes for our bespoke soccer and academic programme in partnership with 2 English Universities, York St John University in York and Northumbria University, Newcastle. We are excited to attend the Palm Beach Gardens Classics Tournament followed by holding our bespoke College ID Clinic on Monday 21st October 2019 at 6pm.
Our 3 year full time Soccer & Academic program allows student athletes the opportunity to train in a full time professional soccer environment whilst earning one of the following internationally recognized Bachelor’s degrees:
- BA (Hons) International Business Management
- BA (Hons) Business with Management
- BA (Hons) Physical Education and Sports Coaching
- BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science
- BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy
Alongside the university degree, we deliver a full time professional soccer programme, led by our Former English Premier League players and UEFA PRO Licensed Coaches, such as Darren Williams (Sunderland, Cardiff City, Hartlepool United), Lee Nogan (Reading, Watford & York City), Bobby Davison (Leicester City, Derby County, Leeds United) &Michael Ingham (Northern Ireland International, Sunderland, York City).
Full time student athletes at the i2i International Soccer Academy play around 40 games in a 9-month soccer season as they are available for selection to play for one of the i2i ISA teams in an U19/U21/U23 League against semi-pro academies and local clubs. Student athletes will also represent one of their University teams who compete in the British Universities & Colleges Sport Leagues (BUCS). During the season, our student athletes also have the opportunity to experience playing against top level professional clubs in Showcase Games such as; Liverpool, Leeds United, Wolves, Hull City, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Celtic, Rangers and Shamrock Rovers plus many more.
We are delighted to be hosting a FREE OF CHARGE College Presentation / Seminar on each of the days of the tournament to players who attend The Palm Beach Gardens Classics and who wish to learn more. This is a great chance to speak to our college recruitment team and coaches to build your recruitment profile, as we are actively recruiting for current and future intakes. Parents are also encouraged to attend.
ID CLINIC TO BE HELD IN THE CLASSROOM AND ON THE FIELDS 6PM TO 9PM MONDAY 21ST OCTOBER.
Our College ID Clinic on Monday 21st October 2019 is a key part of our recruitment process – providing unique opportunities for players to develop their technical skills and game understanding. The clinics include training sessions, scrimmage and a presentation/ Q&A/ overview of the soccer and academic programme.
